What gets me is in my state, the Police WILL NOT chase you. They are told to DISENGAGE!!! in no uncertain terms, I have a scanner so I know. We do not have a helicopter either.

Which is argueablely a good thing, who wants to get killed by a pursuit involving some bag snatcher or w/e?

Also, and probably most telling, is that every state of this country bar mine, if a cop is acting in the direct action of his duty, he can not be sued.

However! and this is my point, they can have 400 hp late model missiles to detect you speeding in the oppisite direction, turn around and do 130 mph to intercept you.

Cause, Joe Citizen doing 10 over A/ isn`t going to run and B/ will pay the big arse fine.

Why doesn`t the govt just install poker machines in schools and supermarkets to raise revenue instead of jumping on this horsecrap and let cops actually fight crime?

And its also alot more cost effective. Ping Johnny Paycheck a few bucks and its all good, but to keep some ne`r do well in jail cost heaps.
