View Full Version : Headlight Conversion for Accents...

Another project I want to do on the Accent is to convert the headlights to projectors.
If anyone comes across any How To's please post links here in this thread. I have seen
a popular headlight style used from a Fiat Punto MKII. Those lights would make an X3 look tough.

But so far generally you can find these on Ebay.uk. but most will not sell/ship to the USA.
I would settle for any style projectors that would fit in a X3 (98 Accent). I know there would be some fabbing to do, but no problem, anything to make the Accent to stand out a little.

ahh ****.there is a company that already does this. i will search for it. but most likely not find it

I would love to have projection headlights in my accent. Let me know what you come up with.

Damn the first link you put is like $700.00 + other options...YIKES..

I'll have to check out that other forum you posted. Looks promising. I'll have to do some more researching as well. But maybe if I get going on the lights, I'll do a How To those as well....lol.

How much, What did they fit on originally? The measurements I'm looking to slightly match
are 12.5" length, 5.5" higest point down to a narrow 2.5". I used an old photo, the best I had that showed the headlights and separate corner lights, which those I need to get clear lens for too. I knwo where to get those though. (The paint is off and I have the Lids I made on them now).

Mainly I'm researching now so I'll be ready when I get to that point.
