Its here. I collected it. Bank gimme last minute hassles, but got it sorted.

I went and picked it up, drove home.

after a bit of running around, picking kids up from school, I went for some exploratory drving on one of my old roads.

These cars, are bull**** fast..

I`m thinking, jeez, this roads gotten rough.. then look at speedo!

Had the traction light glowing at 170 kph.. As the car was accelerating hard past 170 kph. thats 110 mph. Got light over sump undulations.

Its one HELL of a car, I love it.

Driven sanely, the trip meter can dip into the 7 litres to the 100 klm range. Mostly its between 8 and 10. Thats good economy for a 2 ton car that`ll go nought to 60mph in five and a half seconds, take my word for it.

But, make it angry? Oh my wordy lordy me...

I blitzed a quarter tank in several minutes.. lolz..

But by Jesus was it fun.. Its just a real drivers car. very compliant.

But, you really need set some safe limits. Save the real **** for the track where you got run off..

Best stuff? The refinement.. the premium sound, the lil gadgets, the adjustable position, I`m wrapped in that.. Wheel up close up long legs out straight, winner.

Turbo flutter.. Hard on the gas, off the gas = chut duh duh duh duh duh.. My god nothing sounds better..

I`ll get better pics, these are just first photo`s, ****ty dealer detail

Okay, thanks for positive comments.

Mods? Well, I had big plans, until I drove it. I mean really DROVE it.

Seriously, it`s a simple matter to make some simple mods like replace the cat, centre muffler, add a K&N air filter, bigger injectors and pump just for safety, a CAPA flash tuner with a custom tune, and 400 HP at the wheels is yours, and beyond if you like..

Personally, I just want to free the thing up, not that it feels in the slightest bit corked up.

It`d have ballpark 300 to 320 hp at the wheels now.

I want an all round performer, sure I`ll run it down the strip, it should do mid 13`s. Most do..

I`d only want a 12.99 if I had to pick a figure.

So, mods to allow that. Not right away either.

I`m toying with running it next thursday night, it should not be too hot, but it soon will be.

I dunno, I`ll see how things go this week end. I got lots on, and I`d like to check the state of the oil and plugs, basically go over the whole car.

Re: moving.. I shouldn`t tell you, but the northern territory has only recently introduced speed limits on the remote highways. Imagine one of these cars with the 250 kph limiter ( if it exists ) removed.

I forget what the speed limit is now, 180 or 200 kph or summin.. Long way away from me here, anyway.

awesomesauce dude...something about the rear though, looks kinda like the wheels need to be a little bigger.

Bigger in diameter? ( there are 19`s.. ) or wider, they are 245`s.. I`d like 265`s.. maybe 275`s on the back.

But in a 19? they gonna cost, boy they gonna cost.

You can only buy those wheels, genuine, by buying the car. You can buy fakes, dunno how good they are.

Genuine, folk say a grand a corner..

I love mine. Scared ****less of scratchin` em..

There is motor sport complex in my town, it has a somewhat boring circuit. It has a half decent striaght though..

Rally in me phoon? Noooooooooooo! I won`t even drive it to work EVER cause of the dirt road that leads into it.

I haven`t even sat in the car since I drove it home on Tuesday after I bought it.

I`m tempted to of course, but unlocking / locking ****ing about with the stereo and bingo I gotza flat battery.. I`ll drive it on the weekend..

Got to ring a guy about some mods today too..
