ok, well i blew a sidewall on one of my 17's. (damn pot hole's) and right now i cant afford gas much less a new tire, so i caved, and installed the 15's ive had sitting around. didnt know what to expect with them, but there not so bad. i get a bit of rubbage up front on bigger bump's, but ive dealt with rubbing since i lowered the car so ill deal.

the front tires are actually off my OEM stock wheels (195/55/15, and the rears are off some factory probe rims (195/60/15).

well i dunno if im gonna buy new tires for the 17's when i have the money, or if im just gonna save up, and go 18's like ive been wanting to for about a year now. ive had the mr7's on the car for 7 years now.... thats longer then 90% of the members here have probably owned there car's.

Well, like you said, they were rubbing as it was, how well do you think 18's will work?

they only rubbed on corners where bumps, or entrance's were involved, and even then, i just went wide, and i wouldnt rub. with these 15's i cant really stop the rubbing int he front, even in a straight line, a hard bump rubs. and thats more of a offset issue then anything else. being that these tires are factory size.

if i went 18's id just get the correct offset, and smaller tire. i have no worries. i just cant be rocking the 17's when my girl will have 20's on her mazda. it just cant go down like that. plus 18's with my slam would just look hot. sux about the weight id have to deal with, suddenly my 25 pound 17's seem light.....

The other wheels looked better, of course, but these aren't so bad. At least you didn't have to put the stockers back on. lol

^^

if i had a full set of stockers, i would have, but i have 2 cracked ones, and 3 good ones. not quite enough to use them. lol

and actually, after having them on for a day, i do kinda dig them, for being back up rims. they are alot better then stock at least.
